The most important bullfighting event of the year in Alicante is the fair that marks the beginning of the summer.

Las Hogueras de San Juan of Alicante are celebrated in 2024 from June 20th to 24th in the city of Alicante. The festivities have been declared of International Tourist Interest since 1983 and of Cultural Interest since 2014.
